It all began many years ago, when I tried to move from the junk food-fuelled habits of a university student to a healthier and more compassionate diet.

I was amazed by the variety of plant-based foods I could introduce—there’s so much more than just boring salads!

I was trained to consider health holistically—looking at not just the body, but also the mind and spirit. While I firmly believe in this approach, I’ve seen the term “holistic” misused to promote unscientific wellness trends. That’s why I focus on practical, evidence-based guidance while acknowledging that health is more than just numbers on a chart.
